Our 14 year old Boarder Collie woke up one day with a very large and visable lump under her jaw bone. I called Cresswell and they were able to fit her in the next day! The Veterinarian we saw that day was so compassionate about the fact that Murphy had lymphoma. Murphy was still doing pretty well for a 14 year old dog so we were surprised by the news. I can't stress the kindness the Vet showed my daughter and I that day. She was very knowlegable and we felt that our Murph was in very good hands! Unfortunaley I don't remember her name. After the inital visit Dr. Cullum has been in touch with me to check on Murphy and follow her progression with this disease. He is such a nice man and has shown me that he really knows his stuff. Murphy's comfort and quality of life is what he stresses to me to be most important! Thank you Cresswell!

sammy was peeing a lot and i took her to my original vet which was close by me. i had to take her back three times in one week and every time i went in i would see a different vet in the clinic that i first took her to. i was told that she had one thing after another and that she needed all these different surgeries. they also gave me an anti-infalmatory medicine that once before they had given her and i told them that it made her sick and gave her diarea, well they insisted that she needed it, so i gave it to her and hold and behold she and i were up all night running her outside to go and cleaning up rugs, sheets and everything else that she had an accident on. i phoned my nephew and told him my problem, he recommened his vet, dr. cullum, who fit me in that very monday after this horrible weekend, he right away told me that he thought she had an urinary tract infection, gave her some tests and an antibiotic.. within a few days sammy was her old self. also he put her on a special diet and we have not had a problem since seeing him. that was three years ago and before she had an infection every other month. also dr. cullum was fair with his prices.

Saving Delilah: It was love at first bark. We visited the animal shelter in 2007. I already had 3 dogs so I was safe, or so I thought, from the lure of my favorite breed: rescue. I picked up a 6 week old puppy. The second I held her I knew she was coming home. She became one of the best dogs that ever owned me. This past November she became paralyzed. I thought we would have to put her down. I prepared my heart for it. Dr. Sammons initially thought so too. However, she wanted to run some tests in consultation with the surgeon. She knew how much we loved and cared for all of our 5 dogs. (I rescued and fostered). They discovered a couple of herniated discs in her neck. Both Dr. Sammons and Dr. Newman thought the "kid" as they called her deserved a chance. Although it costs more than we had we thought she did too. They removed the discs and I took her home. She couldn't walk for a few days. I wondered if I had done the right thing. Two days later she walked! I sent the video to both of them...I think I made them cry. THank you Dr. Sammons for loving and believing in Delilah and in us. Love never fails. Dr. Sammons is the best! (and so is Dr. Newman :)
